Pop Image Shop Expands

A new online poster shop has expanded from eBay sales to use its own ecommerce store. Featuring a large range of posters from both major UK manufacturers, there's some good stuff here. Looking over the website, it's easy to use and worth having a browse.

Twilight - New Moon

As the Twilight New Moon frenzy starts there's a poster to decorate every fan's wall. Naturally Edward features in most of them but the artwork is great and in keeping with the movies. You can see some great examples of Twilight: New Moon movie posters here.

Movie Maxi and One-Sheet

I was asked the question the other day, "What is the difference between a maxi movie poster and a one-sheet movie poster?"

The simple answer is a maxi format movie poster is smaller, the standard size poster you would find on a bedroom wall or 61 cm x 91.5 cm. A one-sheet movie poster replicates the size of the original poster found in the cinema which is usually 68 cm x 98 cm.

So there you go. Another useless piece of information provided to you by your good friends of the internet.

Is David Beckham's job to be a footballer, model or sell razors and shaving foam? He appears in these two new posters coming to a shopping centre near you soon. Ok this is a bit of a gratuitous shot for the girls. Don't worry boys, it's your turn soon.

Star Wars Movie Posters

Starting off with a Star Wars theme are three posters in the maxi format. A maxi format poster measures 61 x 91.5 cm. These are slightly smaller than the sort of posters you would find in the cinema. These posters from the Star Wars movies feature Yoda (Hmmm, green he is), Darth Vader (cue heavy breathing and mentioning that you might be my father) and a good old fashioned Stormtrooper.
